We have an active Staff Representative Group (SRG) that gives everyone at Kewstoke the chance to be involved in the planning and effectiveness of the hospital. The SRG had significant input into our overhaul of the hospital’s catering – meals were made free for colleagues and we created greater parity by providing the same menus for service users and staff alike.
You’ll also be empowered by the skills and career development opportunities we offer. These include managerial training and service rotations for our Nurses – as well as the Trainee Nursing Associate Programme that provides on-the-job training for those progressing into nursing.

Just as our colleagues have a say in what we do, so do our service users. Our People’s Council gives them a voice to suggest improvements and get involved at every level. Helping people is what we live for – and this is just one way we ensure they have the best possible experience with us.
We also know that happy carers give better care. That’s why we support, train, encourage and develop our people – and enable them to do an excellent job with efficient, person-centred systems and processes.

From the beautiful setting to the great benefits and warm atmosphere – Cygnet Kewstoke colleagues enjoy coming to work here. The expansive grounds and tranquil beachside location provide an idyllic backdrop to rewarding roles and career progression opportunities.
Your day will begin by arriving at our picturesque 16-acre landscaped grounds, with stunning views and free parking – and we provide free meals for our colleagues too. Our staff tell us they feel valued, supported and it’s a good place to work.
